Taronga Pratibondhi Unnyon Sangstha is a Disabled Peoples Organization (DPO) working in Magura district of Bangladesh. The organization was established in 2002 being started involving local persons with disabilities with support from ADD International Bangladesh, and now the organization has total 700 members; among them male 400 and female 300. The organization implements its activities ensuring equal participation of men and women with disabilities. According the bylaws of the organization there are 41 members in its General Committee and 07 members are in the Executive Committee.

The organizational activities are implemented by the staff and volunteers following the directives of the General Secretary and the president. Through the direct involvement of the men and women with disabilities, the organization is working to promote rights of persons with disabilities and improving their lives with supports from government and non-government organizations. Besides, the organization is striving for partnership with the mainstreaming organizations for Disability Inclusion in their programs through ensuring active and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities as well as providing capacity building and technical assistance.
